You should wear outfits for your senior portrait session that you feel good about.  Think about colors that you look good in.  Not just the latest styles but styles you are comfortable with.  Outfits that are flattering, things you love to wear.  Please make sure wrinkles have been removed from your clothes.

You may bring as many outfits that you want, however you might not have enough time to use them all.  You and Fitz will have a chance to go through your choices and select outfits that go best with the backgrounds and locations.

Remember to include outfits from each of these categories:

  • something for a formal or classic look
  • something that parents will like
  • something fun and represents you
  • other options are something casual for an outdoor shoot, sports attire and anything else unique you may want

Most importantly, bring a solid color, long- sleeved shirt or sweater in a darker color.  The darker colors tend to be richer in an image.

Ladies - Fashion accessories are great too!  Fun jewelry, boots, scarves anything you can think of that would make an outfit pop.  You might want to consider bringing long pants for variety.

Guys- Long-sleeved dark colored sweaters or suit jackets make for great formal images.  Layering options look great such as a t-shirt with a button down over or a jacket over a shirt.  Mixing of fabrics, layers, textures makes the outfit more insteresting.
